Rice Clove Collagen Gel: Japanese DIY For Wrinkle Free Glowing Skin

 


Procedure

  1. Extract the rice essence
    • Soak the rinsed rice in ½ cup of warm filtered water for 30 minutes.
    • Swirl gently, then strain; reserve the cloudy rice water rich in peptides.
  2. Infuse clove benefits
    • Add whole cloves to the rice water and simmer on low for 3 minutes.
    • Remove from heat, strain out the cloves, and allow the infusion to cool slightly.
  3. Form the gel base
    • While the liquid is still warm (about 60 °C), sprinkle agar-agar powder over the surface.
    • Whisk continuously until the powder dissolves completely; this plant gelatin will set the mixture into a light, bouncy gel.
  4. Enrich and protect
    • When the temperature drops below 40 °C, whisk in aloe-vera gel, rose water, glycerin, cooled green-tea, and vitamin E oil.
    • Stir until the texture becomes glossy and uniform.
  5. Set and store
    • Pour the mixture into a sterilised glass jar or pump bottle.
    • Refrigerate for at least 2 hours to fully set; the gel will keep for seven days in the refrigerator.
