Ingredients:


1 package puff pastry sheets (2 sheets, thawed)


1 cup fresh strawberries (sliced)


1 cup fresh blueberries


4 oz cream cheese (softened)


2 tbsp powdered sugar


1 tsp vanilla extract


1 egg (beaten, for egg wash)


2 tbsp coarse sugar (optional, for topping)


Whipped cream (for garnish)


Instructions:


1. Preheat Oven: Set to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.


2. Prepare Filling: In a small bowl, mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.


3. Cut Pastry: Roll out puff pastry and cut into squares or circles (about 3–4 inches). Place on prepared baking sheet.


4. Fill: Spread 1–2 teaspoons of the cream cheese mixture in the center of each pastry. Top with a few sliced strawberries and blueberries.


5. Seal & Brush: Fold edges slightly inward to create a border (like a tart). Brush edges with egg wash and sprinkle with coarse sugar if desired.


6. Bake: 15–18 minutes, until golden brown and puffed.


7. Cool & Garnish: Let pastries cool slightly. Top with a dollop of whipped cream for the “white” color contrast.

Use raspberries instead of strawberries for extra tartness.


Drizzle with melted white chocolate for added sweetness.
